SERENDIPITY
The year of the dragon,
was when she came to be
And now her eyes were focused
on a magical entity
His big eyes glanced toward her
,
his tongue hung from his mouth
She thought she heard a giggle,
that made her want to smile
Her brown eyes bright with wonder,
a coquettish smile upon her face
The lavender sky was dawning,
as she stared in disbelief
Quietly she sat there,
making not a sound
Afraid a simple movement,
might scare what she had found
His skin was the color of the sky,
on a bright summer day
His eyes as green as emeralds ....
she could hardly look away
She hadn't sought to find him,
she really was quite shy
A phenomenon such as this,
was such a wonderful surprise
